Steps to Renew your Philippine Passport

1. Make an Online Appointment

  • Enter your email address to receive a confirmation and start your online application. (Make sure to click the confirmation link within twenty-four hours to authenticate)
  • Choose your preferred date and time for the appointment.
  • Fill out the Passport Application Form with all necessary details and print the following documents:
    • System Confirmation Notification
    • DFA Passport Application
    • Remarks: You can also book your appointment by emailing your completed ePassport Application Form to epass.app@gmail.com or passport.hongkongpcg@dfa.gov.ph, or by fax to +852 2866 8559

Optional: Make an Appointment via Drop box

You can also make an appointment for passport renewal by sending your application form via Drop box.

  • Appointment confirmation will ben sent through text/SMS

2. Visit Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong

  • On the selected date and time, bring the following documents:
    • Your original passport
    • Copy of your passport and visa or HKID card
    • Printed application form you submitted online
    • A4 mailing envelope with HKD 35 stamps
    • Service Fee:
    • Passport renewal fee: HKD 480
  • Wear proper, decent attire with a collar when attending your appointment.

3. Wait for Your New Passport

  • After completing the steps above, you can relax and wait for your Philippine passport to be delivered directly to your doorstep via Hong Kong post.
  • The e-Passport application process takes up to six to twelve weeks.
