Embarking on a journey as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) requires navigating through essential procedures, and a crucial step in this process is registering with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) system. This registration serves as a gateway to various privileges and benefits designed to streamline your overseas employment experience. In this guide, we'll walk you through the straightforward process of registering with the POEA system, ensuring a smooth and efficient start to your overseas work venture.

Steps to Register on POEA e-Registration System

  1. Go to DMW Online Service Portal here
  1. Under E-Registration, click Let’s Go
  1. Click on Register → Click I Accept the Terms of Use
  1. Enter your personal details based on your passport → Click Register
      • Personal details: First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Suffix, Gender, Email, Address, Birthday
  1. You will get registration was successful pop-up message
  1. Check your email inbox for the temporary password
  1. Go back to DMW Online Service Portal → Enter your email and the temporary password → Click Log In
  1. Set a new password → Click Change Password
  1. In the Dashboard page, click Attach Profile Picture → Click Choose File
  1. Choose your picture as profile picture → Click Upload
      • Photo requirement:
        • Passport Size
        • Less than 2MB JPG/JPEG file
        • Image should be clean and clear
  1. Click Attach Passport → Click Choose File
  1. Choose the photo of the first page of your passport (that shown your passport details) → Click Upload
  1. Click My Profile → Enter your personal information
    1. Click Add New Identification and fill the information
        • Prepare below information
          • Passport, SSS (Social Security System) ID, OWWA ID, Tesda ID, PhilHealth ID, Pag-IBIG, UMID (Unified Multi-Purpose ID), SIRB (only for Seamans)
    2. In the My Family Section, enter your beneficiaries details → Click Update Profile
  1. Click My Education → Click Add Education then enter your education details then click Save
      • You can add other education information such as certificates, training, and language by clicking Add Certificate / Add Training / Add Language then click Save
      • You can upload your TESDA certificates on the Certificates section
  1. Click My Experience → Click Add Preference and choose your preferred class, position, industry, preferred country, and category → Click Save
      • Click Add Experience to add your work experience → Enter the name of the company, position, dates of employment, and country then click Save
  1. Click My Documents → Click Add Document to attach important files such as NBI clearance, medical certificate, and offence clearance → Enter the document type, issue date, and expiry date, then click Save
  1. Your POEA account is set and you can use it to apply for OEC
