Step 1: Check If the Agency Is Licensed

Before working with any agency, always check if it has a valid license.
Visit the Labour Department's Employment Agencies Portal:
  • You can search the agency name and see if it is properly licensed.
  • You can also check if they have received warnings, convictions, or had their license revoked.

Step 2: When to Report an Agency

You should report an agency if they:
  • Charge illegal fees (overcharging)
  • Hold your passport or personal documents
  • Force you to sign unfair contracts
  • Threaten you or give false information
