Steps to Sign Up

Download the HSBC HK Mobile Banking App:

iOS App

Open the app and click I don’t have an account yet.

Follow the instructions to:

Take a picture of your HKID for identity verification.

Capture a selfie.

Fill in your personal details to complete the account setup.

Click Set up online banking now and then click Continue.

If online account opening is not successful, you can schedule an appointment at your nearest HSBC branch here. Ensure you bring the original copies of the following documents:

Hong Kong Identity Card

Passport

Employment Contract:

Stamped by an appropriate Consulate within the last 24 months.
A copy of your visa within the validity date.
