ID Verification Steps

  1. Open WeChat → Click Me
  1. Choose Services → Click … on the top right corner
  1. Choose Payment Management → Click Identity Verification
  1. Enter Hong Kong handphone number → Click Send
  1. Enter verification code received via SMS → Click Submit
  1. Scan and upload an HKID card photo
  1. Fill in personal information
      • Country/Region
      • English Name
      • Gender
      • Date of Birth
      • HKID number
      • Address:
        • District
        • Street/Building
        • Floor
        • Room
  1. Tick I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy box → Click Confirm and submit
  1. Click Start Facial recognition → Follow the instruction to complete facial recognition
  1. Click Submit and wait for the assessment result (2-3 working days)
