🇮🇩 What Should I Prepare for My Home Leave?

Home Leave Guide
📌
If you're a migrant domestic worker in Singapore planning to take a well-deserved break and return to Indonesia for your vacation, there are a few essential things you need to keep in mind to ensure a smooth journey.

Home Leave Preparation

1. Travel Documents:
  • Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of return.
  • Bring your work permit, as it is crucial for re-entry into Singapore.
2. Flight Arrangements:
  • Ask your employer to book a round-trip flight ticket to and from Indonesia well in advance to secure your travel plans.
  • Don’t forget to print out the ticket!
3. Employment Documentation:
  • Carry a copy of your employment contract to avoid any issues related to your employment status.
4. Additional Documents (Optional):
  • While not mandatory, having a copy of your employer's NRIC (National Registration Identity Card) may be helpful for verification purposes.
5. Custom Declaration:
  • Fill out the custom declaration form online here within 3 days before your departure or complete it in person upon arrival at the Indonesian airport. This declaration is mandatory and ensures compliance with customs regulations.
6. Returning to Singapore:
  • Before flying back to Singapore, remember to fill out the ICA (Immigration & Checkpoints Authority) arrival card online here within 3 days prior to your departure date.
Taking these steps will help you have a hassle-free and enjoyable home leave vacation. Safe travels!
