If you are a Migrant Domestic Worker (MDW) in Singapore and plan to travel to Malaysia with your employer, you must ensure that you have the necessary documentation. Below is a checklist of the required documents and important considerations:
Required Documents
- Valid Passport
- Ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date of travel.
- Work Permit
- Carry your valid Singapore Work Permit as proof of your employment status.
- Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
- Submit your MDAC at least 3 days before your trip to avoid last-minute issues.
- Bring a printed copy or screenshot of your MDAC submission when traveling.
- Employer’s Letter of Consent
- Some border officials may request a letter from your employer stating that you are accompanying them for the trip.
