🇵🇭 How to Verify My Employment Contract?
Verification of Employment Contract
Before granting an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC), the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) mandates the verification of the OFW's employment contract. This process ensures the existence of a legitimate job and employer, confirming that the contract aligns with the minimum requirements set by both the POEA and the host government.
Required Documents:
- 1 original & 1 copy of Standard Employment Contract (ALL pages of the contract should be signed)
- 1 original & 1 copy of Undertaking of Employer
- 4 copies of Worker’s Passport
- Must valid for at least six (6) months from the date of intended departure
- 4 copies of Workers’ Work Permit
- 4 copies of Employer’s Passport or Identification Card
- 2 copies of the Letter of Guarantee for SGD 7,000 Philippine Embassy Bond
- from any reputable Insurance Company valid for 2 years from the date of application at the Philippine Embassy
Steps to Verify Employment Contract:
Make an Online Appointment
- Go to Embassy of the Philippines in Singapore’s Online Service here
- Select Labour Section
- Click Contract Verification- Domestic Worker
- Choose the date and time of your preference (red color means slot on that day is full) → click Next
- Enter your contact details and the reason for contract verification
- Tick I agree to provide the above details to process my registration booking and to facilitate reminder notification on my booked registration box → click Next
- Check your details and the appointment details, if all correct, click Submit
Appointment Day
- Go to Embassy of the Philippines in Singapore on the date and time of the appointment
- Temporary Office: #12A, 13-14, Level 16, Devonshire Wing, 111 Somerset Road (TripleOne Somerset Bldg), Singapore
- Getting there (to the temporary office): Somerset MRT (NS23) - Exit A
- Operational Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 16:00
- Go to reception area and present the OEC Appointment to get a queue number
- Go to Window 1A or 1B, present your OFW Information Sheet for validation of OWWA Membership and OEC Application
- Pay OWWA Membership Fee if membership is expired
- OWWA Membership Fee: SGD 36
- Present the documentary requirements to Window 2A or 2B for verification
- Pay Verification fee
- Verification Fee: SGD 17
- Go to Window 6 to pay for Authentication Fee
- Authentication Fee: SGD 42.5
- Go to Window 4 and present the documentary requirements and Official Receipt of payment of Authentication and pay OEC Fee
- OEC Fee: SGD 3
- Return to the Embassy on the date of collection of verified and authenticated contract
