How to Clean the Shower (Glass) Door?

📌
Learn how to effectively clean your shower doors using a simple DIY solution of distilled white vinegar (or baking soda) and dish detergent.

Steps to Clean Shower Door

  1. Mix Vinegar and Dish Soap
      • Create a homemade shower-door cleaner by combining heated distilled white vinegar (or baking soda) and dish detergent in equal proportions.
      • Transfer the mixture into a spray bottle.
  1. Spray DIY Cleaner on Shower Door
      • Apply the prepared solution to both the front and back of the shower doors using the spray bottle.
      • Allow the mixture to stand for approximately 30 minutes or until it effectively cuts through the grime.
  1. Rinse and Dry
      • Rinse off the cleaning solution using fresh water and a damp sponge. (If using baking soda, use warm water to rinse it off)
      • Dry the glass thoroughly with a microfiber cloth to achieve a spotless and clear finish.

While the vinegar and dish detergent solution is effective for most showers, exercise caution when cleaning shower doors made of stone, as vinegar may cause damage. In such cases, opt for a safer alternative by combining dish detergent with baking soda until it reaches the consistency of frosting for a suitable and gentler cleaning solution.
